Tonight was my first time in the new location for Garden Gate. I ordered the salad with goat cheese (and house dressing) and a hot pretzel. It was all delicious and fresh. The restaurant is beautiful with the natural wood floors and exposed brick. The staff was attentive and polite.
I had the pleasure of dining here this evening. Was greeted and seated by a polite young man. The waitress was a cheerful young lady and very helpful with my indecision suggesting sides. I knew it was too much food for me so I asked for the sides to be made togo, which was done. The manager was kind and friendly. Great food, great people and the price was very reasonable, I got a lot of food for my money!

Stopped in with a friend and liked the eclectic decor right away. SO many yummy-sounding options, but I settled on the grilled chicken salad and was glad I got the half portion! Delicious and huge with lots of chicken. On a whim, I got a cup of the chicken velvet soup because another patron recommended it. So glad I tried it! I can't remember what my friend had, but she really liked it, too. A sandwich for sure and I think it was the reuben
Literally never had anything that wasn't amazing here! Amazing chicken salad, baked beans, cheddar soup bread bowls, salads w their home made dressing, scones, lemon, orange, and banana cookies! Everything is so good! Oh! And the tea! Blackberry and occasionally Peach! Amazing tea! Never had an order messed up and the staff have always been a delight. My family and I love going here and we are so glad to have them in our little community.
I had the beef lasagna with two bread sticks a bowl of cottage cheese and washed it down with an unsweet tea. The service was fantastic and very friendly staff.
5 different meals, 5 happy customers. Excellent food! If you've never been, I highly recommend it! Go to the counter if it's before 4pm, you order there and they bring it out to you. After 4, they have servers. Just a heads up! But loved it and will be going back
I was very pleased with Garden Gate Cafe and my first time here. I took my son out to lunch and he had a pretzel with cheese and I had the BLT sandwich with apple sauce which was delicious. Cute little Cafe with healthy options on the menu. Support your local small business.
